Ram
From Christianity Knowledge Base
A ram is a male sheep, often used in sacrifices. There are also two people named Ram in the Bible.
Ram, the Elder was the great-grandson of Judah and an ancestor of King David. He was the son of Hezron, the father of Amminadab, and the brother of Jerahmeel and Caleb. He lived during the Israelite exile in Egypt (Ruth 4:18-19; 1 Chronicles 2:9-10; Matthew 1:3-4; Luke 3:33.)
Ram the Younger was the nephew of Ram the Elder and the son of Jerahmeel (1 Chronicles 2:25-27).
