Explain trinity first before putting your opinion in.

This is an important piece of theology that really needs a theological approach. We really need to import the Wikipedia article. In fact, I think I'll make a template for that. Archola 09:03, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Well I did explain it based on what I know, but from what I understand, the derivation of it can get very complicated. I mean im pretty sure I got the basics but from what I understand there's more than just basics for whatever reason. Homestarmy 17:29, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Just be careful. They used to execute people based on their interpretation of the Trinity. Archola 23:12, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

And now they don't. Besides, I was using the Bible, not my own personal opinion, if someone wants to hang me for it they probably aren't going to have much of a Biblical defense for it as far as I know. What happens from what i've seen is that the basic concept is simple enough like what I had in the intro, but then when people start justifying it then the gloves come off and scripture gets thrown around everywhere and oneness pentecostals can start oneness pentecostaling and ewwwwwww it can get weird x_x Homestarmy 03:10, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
"Now they don't." Not usually, but the Trinitarian debates do have a bloody history. See Arianism for example. (Actually, I think that's the only example we have here so far ;) Anyway, I imported the Wikipedia Trinity article. Theopedia would have been better (more CPOV), but, well, it's down. Well you said Theopedia is up now, should we import their article? Homestarmy 01:52, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
May as well. Not the multimedia stuff, though. Also we need a Theopedia template similar to our Wikipedia template, in order to properly give them permission. Archola 02:01, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
