God doesn't like pride
1 Peter 5:5..." In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to the elders. ALL of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
"God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble and oppressed."
1 Peter 5:6.."Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
1 Peter 5:7..."Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
weird weather and other signs
Seems like almost everyday now the headlines are filled with stories about how yet another violent thunderstorm has spawned tornado. Used to be you didn't start hearing about tornadoes til May or June, but lately we're seeing tornadoes in January and March. And we're seeing more violent storms at that. Our country is beginning to lose its Divine Hand of Protection. We can't keep pushing God out of our public lives but continue to expect that He keep us safe from the fury of nature. We can't tell God He can't be in our schools or in our policies, but yet wonder why we're seeing so much destruction. God is in control of everything and we need to humbly remember that fact. We need to let our elected leaders know that we are stilll "..…
